Tun Hong (Tun Yun Garment)

Making: The open-air pants, take a hike shorts
To produce our open-air pants, we partnered with Tun Yun Garment’s Indonesian factory, Tun Hong. We selected them because they have a ton of experience making woven athletic pants and have stellar labour practices. Founded in Taiwan in 1948, Tun Hong is part of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Better Work initiative. Participation in this program requires a commitment to comply with ILO core labour standards and national legislation covering compensation, contracts, occupational safety and health and working time for garment manufacturers.
At Tun Hong, all employees are salaried workers with bonuses, benefits and maternity leave and overtime is voluntary. The factories +1000 workers have the freedom to unionize, quarterly management-worker representative meetings are held on premise and there is no subcontracting. Tun Hong also receives third party audits to verify compliance with policies like ensuring age verification, maintaining written employment records and agreements for every employee. Equipped with the Organic Content Standard 2.0 and the Global Recycle Standard 4.0 Tun Hong has the know-how to work with sustainable fabrics and create long-lasting, durable pieces.

Approved by GORE-TEX, Grand Ocean specializes in outerwear, ski-wear, mountaineering garments and more, Grand Ocean uses industry-leading technology and expertise to work with specialized fabrics and materials to execute the most difficult outerwear.
Grand Ocean is committed to operational sustainability and is ISO 13485 certified in addition to wastewater treatment plans, recycling and up-cycling initiatives and tree planting on campus. At Grand Ocean, all employees are salaried workers with bonuses, benefits and maternity leave and overtime is voluntary. Small but mighty, their team of ten creates high-quality garments that are made to last.

Making: the go far fleece
Top Royal Flash is Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) facility and Better Work Vietnam partner that specializes in outdoor gear like jackets and fleeces. Dedicated to ethical and responsible business standards, Top Royal Flash is committed to upholding ethical labour practices and standards and treating their workers with dignity and respect, while working to minimize the impacts of their operation on the environment. They have specialized knowledge in working with sustainable materials like recycled nylon, recycled polyester and natural fibres.
